April 2013 Update
Hey guys, the only current server we are running at this time is our Ventrilo one. Not enough demand or players for the Minecraft one, or DayZ one. Lately, our players have been doing a lot of League of Legends, Dota, EVE Online, World of Tanks, and War Thunder.

No more Minecraft! Hellooo DayZ server!
So I’ve done away with the minecraft server (less than 5 players per month) and signed up for a DayZ server! I’ll post more info when I get it sometime this week. Cheers!

Branching out!
So, recently we’ve had a lot of interest in the popular Arma 2 mod, Day Z. I went ahead and picked up a ventrilo server (15 slots for now), and I think I’ll turn this tumblr into a general blog for games everyone apart of our small community is playing, which right now seems to be Day Z.

Changes, Bans, and Submissions!
Hello!
So I took a couple of minutes today to do some server upkeep, tinkering with plugins, checking on some players, and general adminnish work, and banned a couple of players.
Bans!
Slumtowel, and Mitchmorr12 have been added to the banlist for Hacking, and X-raying, respectively. Of the 6 very basic rules we have, they had to go and break one.

Expansion and Growth
So, while I may be extremely busy with school and studies and not being able to pop on as much as I’d like, I believe the server is stable enough and we’ve handled the few new players joining pretty well. Server had an Accident
So the server somehow has two nethers. When we’re on bukkit, it’s an old Nether, and when we’re on the official Minecraft one, it’s the one we’re all used to with the tram system and grinders. This, combined with bukkit being a resource pig, means we’ll definitely need to upgrade to hold up to 20 players on at a time. I’ll be talking to others about this...

So a minor patch came, and we’ve also upgraded to 1.2.2. Open up minecraft and let it autopatch, and you should be good. We’ll also be sticking with the standard updates from here on out, just waiting for bukkit to catch up now. More info to come later.

Server Updated to 1.2
With the release of the official 1.2 today, we are upgraded. Throughout the next week or so as soon as Bukkit has a stable build, we will be switching to that. Update to 12w08a
The server has updated to 12w08a and there’s tentative talk about 1.2 coming soon. This means I’ll be bugging players about input for various things, and prepping the server for our release date. We’ll be setting up protections too, I think everyone should have a bout 3 days to a week to set up protection after we get back on bukkit.

As I write this, the map is being converted to the new Anvil format, with a height increase to 256. Hopefully they were correct in saying there would be improvements to performance and we don’t notice a change.

I've been busy...
I’m currently working two jobs, getting about 70 hours a week (plus or minus 10), so that leaves me just enough time to get a touch of rest each night before the daily grind. I apologize for being unable to log on to the server regularly, but without these jobs, I wouldn’t be able to finish my degree, have a social life, and pay for this minecraft server. Huge DDoS attack is keeping the server down
Some dick is using a very large DDoS attack against the datacenter that hosts or server, so they’re lagging, but the datacenter is working on it.
